Fat Transfer to Buttocks, or Fat Grafting, commonly known as a Brazilian Butt Lift is a cosmetic surgery procedure that can sculpt the body and augment and enhance the buttocks by removing unwanted fat from areas of the body chosen by the patient, such as upper and lower abdomen, thighs, upper arms, chin/neck and knees and injecting the fat in to the buttocks to create an aesthetically pleasing curvaceous result. Prior to surgery, Dr Bugra will assess your overall health, skin quality and the amount of fat to be transferred before explaining in detail the approach that will be used.

Normally the procedure will be carried out under a general anaesthetic. The length of your fat transfer procedure will depend on the amount of fat being removed and transferred.

Fat transfer uses a minimally invasive liposuction procedure whereby Dr Bugra will use a micro needle to make tiny incisions in the skin in order to gently extract the fat. After which the fat is purified /refined before being carefully injected into the buttocks at precise locations in order to achieve the aesthetic result that the patient is looking for.

Recuperation

As you will be having a general anaesthetic you will remain in hospital overnight so that you can be monitored. You will need to wear an elastic support garment for two to four weeks after surgery, depending on the extent of your surgery and this will be provided by Dr Bugra within the price of the procedure. You will need to stay in Cyprus for only 4 days, and what better way to recuperate than at a luxury hotel in sunny Cyprus.

Dr Bugra will advise you on when to gradually introduce your daily/weekly activities and exercise routines.
